Please see attached supplemental calculations and revised Lateral Plans in response to the building official. Below is a
response to the comments The numbers correspond to the numbers in the response letter (please let me know if you
need this in a more formal response letter)
1 Calculations are attached in the Supplemental structural calculations for walls up to 14 ft high for this particular
project
2 All walls are to receive blocking at sheathing edges per footnote 'f ' However, where shear wall shears are
greater than 350 plf, a note has been added to the plans indicating that note 'm' is to be used for clarification
3 Structural calculations for the 2 story deck are attached in the Supplemental Structural Calculations. Please note
that knee braces are to be added at the roof and upper deck level
4 A hold down detail is added where the shear walls /hold downs are located at a cantilever floor A note has also
been added to align hold downs with posts below and to add additional hold downs with posts at the rear of the
house
