The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC) 1998
edition; the State of Oregon One- and Two - Family Dwelling Specialty (OTFDSC) 2003 edition and
the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Ordinance 99 -01 (TVFR99 -01) 1999 edition. The submitted plans
have been reviewed and the following information is required prior to issuance of the permit.
1. The lateral load paths across V5 and M5 are discontinuous at 2 locations.
• Clarify load path from Master suite as it connects to V5/ M5
• Clarify load path from V5 and the connection to M5
1 2. The roof framing plan indicates a hip roof, conventionally framed over the front porch.
Clarify hip end support and hip rafter size on the plan.
3. Roof framing plan does not indicate roof vent locations. Incorporate roof vents on to sheet 10.
4. The truss designated as "1" requires continuous bearing. The location of the truss clear spans
about 11 feet. Provide a truss calculation to match the condition.
V 5. There is an elevation difference of 4 feet between the Garage Finish Floor and the Main
Floor. Provide details for landing and stairs at the garage/dwelling door.
p 6. Note 20 on sheet S2 is referred to as a top plate splice. It appears to be a roof to wall shear
V transfer detail. Re -label detail.
