Re: Permit Fees for Re- Roofing at'Summerfield Condominiums
Dear Brian,
Per your letter regarding the permit fees for the above referenced project, I have reviewed
the actual costs associated with the inspection and issuance of the permits. Instead
dividing the total valuation of the project by the number of buildings and determining a
building permit fee for each building, I have decided to charge an hourly rate for each
building. Therefore, we will charge two (2) hours per building at $55.00 an hour plus the
8% state surcharge. This makes each building permit $118.80 each for a total of
$1,306.80. I think this more accurately covers the level of service we will provide to you.
