Initiation system is to consist of monitored PIV tamp switch(s), water flow switch(s) mounted on the water main riser, combination Smoke/heat detector(s), HVAC Duct Smoke Detector(s) and dual action pull station(s) as noted. Each initiation type device is tied in to a group (alarm zone) of similar type devices. On site notification is to be accomplished with one exterior 24VDC Horn/Strobe and interior notification de' Noted. Quantities and device locations are denoted on accompanying pages. FACP and system meet all UFC STD 14 -1, NFPA 72, CSFM, FCC, and UL requirements for commercial fire protection, to include dual phone line monitoring, line seizure, supervised trouble and fire notification (both on site and remotely mon of all initiation circuits, back up power supply, and annunciation circuit supervision. ALL initiating and notification circu have an end of line resistor for circuit supervision. The FACP provides an unsupervised dry relay contact for elevator recall use or similar use. All wiring is to be power - limited fire protective signaling circuit cable (FPL 16 -4) 4 conductor ni gage unless otherwise noted. All vertical wiring runs between floors, as applicable, are in conduit as per submitted plans. wires will be running in similar directions will be in "trunks ". Wires will be run along walls, not across rooms. Horizonta and vertical wire runs on one floor (level) will be above ceiling tiles, where applicable, or with -in walls or crawl spaces. A exposed wires, will above seven feet or those under seven feet will be in AHJ approved wire mold or conduit, as per NEC 760- 28(b)(1). Holes through firerated walls for wires will have conduit installed and will be tight having no annular or alternately will be filled with fire caulking as per UBC 4304 exception (e) . When applicable, we will provide a "FIRE INSIDE" sign, a FACP key to be incorporated with in a "KNOX BOX" and a sign displaying detailed instructions regardu "ALARM RESET" and ALARM SILENCE procedures.
