On October 15, 1981 I was notified that the Tigard City Council , during their re,.dl ar meeting of September, 28, 1981 approvedmy request and passed Ordinance No. 81-84. During of March theWeek l5s 1982 I 'tried to contact John Hagman to determine the statu> approval , advised t of the`,City's review and I was by Bob 'Thompson► that staff had not:Proceeded with their review because t, the City did not have an acknowledgment letter from the owner. Bob advised f' that I should contact Liz Newton. Liz Newton stated that the City's file on this Project was missing and the only information she could find indicated'that the project:had been wi thdrawi'n in January 1981.. She requested a copy of the preliminary plat acknowledgement letter from our files. Upon review of our files x found h a signed copyof 9 ,the acknowledgement letter on CPR- 12-81 . I sent a copy her. Liz notified me that this acknowledgement was not sufficient A• and clarified the City's development ordinances in reand to rel imi nary plan approval and Preliminary pat approval .aAfter some discussion in • regard to my earlier call to verify preliminary plat approval she said that she would 'conta t Frank Curry to determine what could be accomplished. . phoned Frank Curry I also to discuss this situation and Frank stated he would get back to me as quickly as possible. Duringweeks ofH Frank the April 5 and April 1 3 2 I placed numerous calls to Curry but never made contact. I made e:eatetf request to his secretary for Frank to return my calls. On April 21 , 1982 I placed a call to you and one to Mr, Wilbur Bishop. . . Mr. Bishop returned my call that same day and after some discussion, Mr. Bishop said I would receive a call from Frank Curry or Liz °Newton no later than Thursday morning.
