LODGING; WHOLESALE, STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION; PARTICIPATION SPORTS AND RECREATION - INDOOR' OUTDOOR; FUEL SALES WITH CONVENIENCE AND AND VEHICLE SALES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. (File No. CPA 6-84) WHEREAS: During the Comprehensive Plan Hearing, process, the Planning Commission and the City Council included certain use types as Conditional Use types in various zones; and WHEREAS: Conditional Use Standards were already in effect for most of the use type; and WHEREAS: Four use types are not referenced in the Conditional Use section of the Code and are listed as Conditional Uses in at least one zone. typesLodin Those use t es are: Transientg g/Restaurant (on same parcel) ; Wholesale, Storage, and Distribution; Participation Sports and Recreation - Indoor and Outdoor; and Vehicle Fuels Sales with , Convenience Sales. SIGN EXCEPTIONS e A recommendation by the City of Tigard Planning Commission to amend Chapter 18.114: SIGNS, of the Community Development Code to add standards for approval of sign code exceptions. a. Public Hearing Reav'ened. b. Planning Director stated the ordinance spells out criteria for " exceptions to the sign code. He explainedthe criteria and gave various examples of signs in the City. c. Public Testimony - No one appeared to speak. City Administrator noted LaValle Allen had a question last week regarding procedure. City Attorney responded he had reviewed the r issue and saw no problem. d. Public Hearing Closed e. Planning Director recommended Council accept Planning Commissions 4 recommendation. f.
