Dear Larry:
I have reviewed the estimate provided by W &H Pacific, which assumed a creditable cost for the
Walnut Street improvements to be $ 57,373.22. In accordance with the Washington County TIF
Ordinance, Section 3.17.070, I had to delete the following items because they are not creditable:
From the Clearing, Grading and Erosion Control sheet:
1. Item #4, Hydroseed (erosion control).
From the Street Improvements sheet:
1. Item #8, Sidewalk Ramps
2. Item #9, Concrete Sidewalk
3. Item #12, New Mail Boxes
4. Item #13, Relocated Tri -Met Sign
5. Item #14, Stop Sign
6. Item #17, Cluster Mailboxes
After removing these items from the estimate, and recalculating the allowed Engineering, Survey
and Inspection fees, the total creditable amount for the improvements is $ 39,296.08.
I have attached the W &H Pacific estimate with my corrections shown. I have also attached a
Request for Traffic Impact Fee Credits which you will need to fill out and return to me (fax is
fine). If you intend to apportion your credits in any way other than first- come - first -serve, please
indicate this on the form in the section that begins, "Further, I request that the credits...."
