Submittal documents for the above referenced project have been reviewed for
conformance with the applicable 1996 Oregon Specialty Codes and other applicable
codes and standards. The following comments are noted:

1. An amount equal to 25% of the remodeling cost shall be budgeted for removal of
architectural barriers within the site and tenant space.
A. Barrier removal is determined in accordance with OSSC, Section
1113.1.1., ORS 447.241 (4).
B. The barrier removal plan shall include exterior improvements.

1. Provide a Type 4A -40B fire extinguisher within 30 feet of each main door [NFPA
10- 1 -3 -2].
2. All metal parts of the spray booth, exhaust duct, and piping shall be electrically
grounded [NFPA -NEC 70, Article 516- 4(G)].
3. The booth shall have two exits separated a distance apart not less than 1/2 of
the diagonal measurement of the booth [OSSC, Section 1018].

1. Submit a mechanical permit application and three sets of plans with
specifications for the ventilation system (ducting, motor, fan), make -up air
system, and interlocking controls [UFC, Section 4502.5.1 and OMSC, Section
505.6].
2. Is the existing fan shown on the original submittal an exhaust or supply fan?

1. Submit a fire suppression permit application and three (3) sets of plans and
component cut sheets and specifications [UFC, Section 4502.8.1 and OMSC,
Section 609.7].
