The submitted plans are approved subject to the following. Special Inspection: Special inspection is required for Epoxy Bolts and Structural Welding. The special inspection agency of record shall furnish inspection reports to the Engineer of Record, Havlin G. Kemp, the General Contractor, Sommers Enterprises. and the City of Tigard, Building Division, attention Hap Watkins. All discrepancies shall be . brought to the immediate attention of the general contractor for correction. The special inspector shall submit a final signed report stating whether the work requiring special • inspection was, to the best of the inspector's knowledge, in conformance with the approved plans and specifications and the applicable workmanship provisions of the Oregon Structural Specialty Code, Section 1701.3. 1. Ductwork shall be supported in accordance with Sheet Metal & Air Conditioning Contractors National Association, Inc. (SMACNA) 2. Each appliance shall be provided with a shutoff valve separate from the appliance. The shutoff valve shall be located in the same room and within six feet of the appliance served. Access shall be provided to the shutoff valve. C409.5 OMSC 3. Appliances serving different areas of a building other than where they are installed shall be permanently marked in an approved manner that uniquely identifies the appliance and the area it serves. 304.10 OMSC 5. Condensate from cooling coils or evaporators shall be collected and discharged to an approved plumbing fixture or disposal area. 307.1 OMSC 6. Smoke detectors shall be installed in return air systems with a design capacity greater than 2000 cfm. Upon activation, the smoke detector shall shut down the air distribution system. Smoke detectors shall be connected to a fire alarm system and shall activate an audible and visible alarm at a constantly attended location. 606.2, 606.4 & 606.4.1 OMSC 7. Appliances shall be accessible for inspection, service, repair or replacement without . removal of permanent construction. 306.1 OMSC 8. Manufacturer's installation instructions shall be available on the jobsite at the time of inspection. 304.1 OMSC Approved Plans: 1 set of approved plans, bearing the City of Tigard approval stamp, shall be maintained on the jobsite. Structural calculations and details for attachment/anchorage of roof mounted AC -1 attached. 2. We have eliminated all appliances on the roof within 10 feet of roof edge, so no guard will be necessary. Please refer to revised drawings submitted. 3. Details and calculations for the structural support of unit F -1 attached. A second unit (F -2) has been added to revised drawings. A second structural support will be installed for this second unit (F -2). The details and calculations apply to both structural supports. Please refer to revised drawings submitted. 4.
