Subject: Genie Cafe water service, PLM2008- 00335, 12705 SW Pacific Hwy
John, we've corrected the address and tax lot for this permit. Genie Cafe and New York, New York restaurant are on two
different tax lots with two different addresses with the same owner and Genie's water service had been a supply branch
line from New York, New York. The new service gives Genie its own service and its own meter.
Genie is at 12705 SW Pacific Hwy and New York, New York is at 12725 SW Pacific Hwy.
However ... back in January or February I had spoken with owner Adrangi about providing a separate water service to
Genie. Our water dept. inspected the site and understandably wanted that service and meter to be come off of
McKenzie instead of Pacific Hwy. The plan at the time was to bring the service line from McKenzie along the left side
line of a third tax lot, also owned by Mr. Adrangi, to the rear of the Genie lot. That third lot is addressed as 9785 SW
McKenzie. I told Mr. Adrangi at the time that a recorded easement across 9785 would be required if he wanted to bring
the service line across that lot but I have not received a copy of one and do not know whether one has been drawn up
and recorded.
I haven't been out to see the location of the new service but I thought I'd better let you know about there being three
tax lots on that corner that might be involved in this business.
