The submitted plans are approved subject to the following. 1. The unit is identified as providing 2000 cfrn. Smoke detectors shall be installed in return air systems with a design capacity greater than 2000 cfrn. Upon activation, the smoke detector shall shut down the air distribution system. The following information is required prior to issuance of a Mechanical Permit. . 1. Provide structural calculations and a roof framing plan for review to determine the adequacy of the existing structure to support additional loading imposed by the new mechanical units. 2. Permanent equipment supported by the structure, 400 lbs and over, shall have their attachments designed in accordance with formulas in section 1632 of the Oregon Structural Specialty Code. Provide details for the attachments. 3. Appliances installed on roofs or elevated structures exceeding 16 feet in height shall be provided with a permanent means of access grade or floor level. 306.5 OMSC clarify roof height. When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the enclosed City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal.
