Dear Mark:
I have reviewed the installation of the (4) HVAC units on top of the exterior roof
structure. I found that the support structure is adequate and attached are the calculations
to verify this. I have also checked the capacity of the U 46 joist hanger and found it to be
adequate also. The only item I wish you to verify is the hanger supporting the 5 1/8
Glulams are a saddle hanger. The top flange should be entirely over the 10 -3/4" Glulam
beam.
