Tangs Garden Roof Specifications
General Specifications
1) Furnish all required certificates of insurance prior to job
commencement.
2) Comply with all OSHA required safety standards and procedures
throughout the project.
3) Establish a fall protection plan for this project. In addition to
establishing a safe work site, we will maintain protection of your
building and grounds, provide MSDS information and have a pre -
job conference with your people to review any special site
conditions that may need to be coordinated.
Roofing Specifications
1) We will tear off existing roofing and sheet metal flashings and dispose of
properly,
any damaged or dry rotted decking will be replaced on a time and
material basis and charged in addition to the sum of this proposal.
2) Over a clean and sound wood deck we will furnish and install a tapered
system
Manufactured out of EPS (expanded poly styrene) insulation to achieve
positive drainage to existing roof drains and to the new drain inserts as
seen on drawing.
3) Over the tapered insulation system we will furnish and install a layer of "
Dens
Deck roof board mechanically attached into wood decking. This
assembly will classify for U.L. Class A fire rating.
4) Over Dens Deck Roof Board we will furnish and install a new
Mechanically attached EverGuard TPO engineered heat - weldable
45 Mil roofing system as manufactured by GAF Materials
Corporation.
5) We will furnish and install new pre- manufactured pipe boots on all
pipes
up to six inches in diameter.
6) We will furnish and install new membrane base flashings on all
parapet
walls and new curbs.
7) We will furnish and install a new 26 gauge pre - painted metal coping
cap
around the perimeter of roof edge.
8) Upon completion we will leave the job site in the same or better
condition
than when we arrived.

Total Lump Sum For Work Outlined Above: $21,050.00
Mansard Roof Specifications
1) We will remove and dispose of existing wood shakes and
dispose of
properly, any damaged or dry rotted decking will be
replaced on
a time and material basis and billed in addition to the sum of
this
Proposal.
2) We will furnish and install a layer of 30# felt paper nailed into
place.
3) Over 30# felt we will install new pre - painted 26 gauge metal
drip and valley flashings.
4) We will furnish and install a new 26 gauge metal panel as
manufactured by Custom -Bilt Metals using their CB -SL -100
Snap Lock Panel. Customer to chose the color.
5) We will furnish and install new pre - painted metal hip and
coping cap flashings to match.
6) The metal mansard roofing will carry a 20 -year manufactures
warranty.
Total Lump Sum For Work Outlined Above: $5,000.00
Note: The GAF TPO roof system will, have a 15 -year manufactures
warranty and both roof systems will come with Columbia Roofing and
Sheet metals 5 -year workmanship warranty.
