The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC) 2004
edition; and the State of Oregon Fire Code (OFC) 2004 edition. The submitted plans are approved
subject to the following conditions.
1. Special inspection is required for structural welding, bolts installed in concrete - epoxy. The
special inspection agency shall furnish inspection reports to the Engineer of Record, TM Rippey
Consulting Engineers, the General Contractor, and the City of Tigard, Building Division,
attention Hap Watkins. All discrepancies shall be brought to the immediate attention of the
general contractor for correction. The special inspector shall submit a final signed report stating
whether the work requiring special inspection was, to the best of the inspector's knowledge, in
conformance with the approved plans and specifications and the applicable workmanship
provisions of the code. 1701.3 OSSC FYI The special inspection and/or structural observations
do not waive the framing inspection required by code.
Approved Plans: 1 set of approved plans, bearing the City of Tigard approval stamp, shall be
maintained on the jobsite. The plans shall be available to the Building Division inspectors throughout
all phases of construction. 106.4.2 OSSC
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the enclosed City
of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal The letter of transmittal assists the City of Tigard in tracking and
processing the documents.
