Scope of work:
Kitchen remodel project entails a floor plan change that requires that a load bearing wall
be replaced by a header spanning the length of the wall (see page 1 in attached diagrams).
The doorway through this wall will be relocated to a non -load bearing wall (see page 4 in
attached diagrams). The home owner will perform this work.
This project does not impact the plumbing as the sink stays in the same location as
original design.
This project updates the electrical as defined in permit number ELC2005 -00324 which
was taken out in the name of the electrical contractor Dryer Electric. The electrical
portion of the project includes the installation of new outlets according to code
requirements, new overhead can light fixtures, new under cabinet light fixtures, new
pendant light fixture as well as new wiring for slide in range, relocated dishwasher,
dedicated microwave circuit (non- existent in original construction), relocated refrigerator
and four new switches.
