Stories: 2 The plan review was performed under the 2005 Oregon Residential Specialty Code. The review of the submitted plans will be completed when the following information is provided. 1. Provide two cut sections through the new addition, one each direction. RESPONSE ACCEPTED. 2. Show in sufficient detail how the deck floor framing is supported by the existing house. RESPONSE PARTIALLY ACCEPTED. Main floor deck off dining room has no connection to house called out. 3. Clarify in detail how the lower ceiling will be insulated and sealed from the upper deck, and how the deck will drain. RESPONSE PARTIALLY ACCEPTED. Supply information on the insulation to be used showing compliance with the R -38 requirement, and requirement to fit in the tapered joist space depth from 9.25 inches to 6.25 inches, with a 1 inch air gap. 4. Mark the energy path being used on the plan. RESPONSE ACCEPTED. 5. Show in sufficient detail how the wall bracing requirements are met. RESPONSE ACCEPTED. 6. Provide a foundation plan with adequate ventilation. RESPONSE PARTIALLY ACCEPTED. The vents shown on the revised foundation plan will only be adequate if the crawl access in the interior strip footing is not used to run HVAC ducts through. Clarify where the ducts will be run for this section of the house. 7. Provide a cross section of the new footing showing the size and location of the reinforcing. RESPONSE ACCEPTED. 8. Provide a first floor framing plan, and a floor framing plan for the deck. Show the location of all pressure treated wood and any hot dipped galvanized fasteners. RESPONSE PARTIALLY ACCEPTED. Provide manufacturer's installation instructions for the use of DecTec, or what product will be used, with slate over. 9. The floor plan must show the extent of all new mechanical and plumbing fixtures and appliances. The plan must make it clear what is new. RESPONSE NOT ACCEPTED. The information on the plan sheets and the application are conflicting. Please clarify which fixtures and appliances are under this permit. 10. Show how the new foundation is connected to the existing. RESPONSE ACCEPTED. 11. Provide the sizes of beams at their locations on the plan, and provide calculations for the loads on these beams. RESPONSE ACCEPTED. 12. Provide a response to this plan review letter addressing each item, showing where on the revision the issue is addressed.
