Resolution No. 63-06 Rc^.SOLUTI0:7 � i RESOLVED That a special election be, and the same is hereby, j called to be held within the City of Tigard on the lst day of July, 1963, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Paci'ic Daylight Saving Time, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall on Main Street, for the purpose of submitting to the legal voters of Tigard, the question of levying a special tax in excess of the six per cent limitation of Article X7, Section 11, Oregon Consti- tution, to raise the sum of $ 10,47$.50 outside of said con- stitutional limitation, for the purpose of providing funds where- with to purchase real property and improvements for use as a City Hall for the City of Tigard. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Recorder of Tigard be, and he is hereby, directed to give notice of said election by publish- ing in the Tigard Times, a newspaper of general circulation in the City ofTigard, once each week for two consecutive weeks, or three publishings in all, to-wit: on June 13, 20 and 27, 1963, and by posting notice thereof in not less than four public and conspicuous places in said city not less than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of said election. Councilman Klock moved for the adoption of this Resolution; motion seconded by Councilman Johnson. Upon call for vote the following tabulation was recorded: Mayor Woodard voting: AYE; Councilman Cooper voting: AYE; Councilman Bergmann voting: AYE; Councilman Johnson voting: AYE; Councilman Klock voting: AYE. There being no dissenting vote the Resolution was orderedu ranimous.7,y ADOPTED. (� That the City of Tigard, Orbgon shall file proper application for a Federal grant for sewage treatment works pursuant to 33 USC 466 et seq for a construction grant for enlargement of sewage treatment facilities within said City, involving a total estimated expenditure in the sum of $318,780. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor of said city shall cause to have the C&ty Engineer and City Attorney prepare an application for said grant in the sum of $95,634., same to be signed by the Mayor of said city and filed with the Oregon State Sanitary Authority not later than the close of business June 15, 1963; and further that the Mayor of said City be, and he is hereby, authorized to act in all respects in behalf of said city in entering said application for said grant." 6-10-63 - Page 5. x 3 t;. r: P to 4� :j,
