NOTICE OF SPECIAL EMERGENCY COUNCIL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that a special emergency Council meeting, called by
the Mayor with common consent of the Council, will be held on September 28, 1982
at 11:30 A.M. , in Tigard City Hall, 12755 SW Ash Avenue, Tigard, Oregon.
The meeting is called for the purpose of awarding the bid onBond Sale 915
and adopting an ordinance to call for bid on Bona Sale #16.

1. ROLL CALL: Present: Mayor Wilbur Bishop; Councilors Tom Briar., Nancie
Stimler; City Administrator, Bob Jean; Deputy Recorder, Loreen
Wilson.
2. AWARD BOND SALE #15 BID.
(a) City Administrator reported that this bond sale contained all LID's
currently in process by the City except for 72nd Avenue. i

(b) RESOLUTION NO. 82-113 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A BID FOK THE
PURCHASE OF CITY OF TIGARD GENERAL
OBLIGATION IMPROVEMENT BUNDS, SERIES
NO. 152 AND DIRECTING DELIVERY AND SALE
THEREOF.
(c) Deputy Recorder reported bids were opened at 10:00 A.M. and the
following bids were received:

lst Interstate Bank 9.6975%
The Oregon Bank 9.9501% '
Ellis & Carl 10.1704%
Deputy Recorder recommended awarding bid to the apparent low bidder,
US National Bank, with the interest rate of 9.59727%
(d) Motion by Councilor Brian, seconded by Councilor Stimler to approve
Resolution No. 82-113 and award bid to US National Bank.

3. ORDINANCE N0. 82-69 AN OBLIGATIONN CIMP IMPROVEMENT AUTHORIZING
GENERAL
AND
DECLARINGAN
EMERGENCY.
(a) Deputy Recorder reported that Mr. Smets, and other late bancroft
applications were included in the bond sale amount of $12371,200.
(b) Motion by Councilor Brian, seconded by Councilor Stimler to adopt
Ordinance No. 82-69 as submitted by bond counsel.
Approved by unanimous vote of Council present.
