SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES APRIL 13, 1976, 10:00 A M
1. ROLL CALL: Mayor Wilbur A. Bishop; Councilmen John E. Cook, Alan W.
Mickelson, Robert C Moore; Bruce P. Clark, City Administrator;
Doris Hartig, City Recorder.
Present; Tigard Employees Representatives: Faye Sundt, Pa.ricia Trachsel,
Leonard Cook.
Tigard Police Officers Association Representatives; Kelley D
Jennings, Thomas Killion, Robert J. Wheeler.
Special meeting was called by common consent of the Council for the propose
of signing labor relation contracts with two employee associations
Mayor Bishop opened meeting with comments regarding the no salary increase contracts
On behalf of the Council, Mayor Bishop commended the employees for negotiating the
one year "no salary increase" contracts. The Mayor stated the action taken
represented a sacrifice on the employees part and hoped the community, on May
25, 1976, would support the City by providing an increase in the tax base
Motion by Councilman Cook to approve the contracts and authorize the signing by
the Mayor and City Administrator; motion seconded by Councilman Moore
Approved by unanimous vote of Council present.
Meeting adjourned 10:15 A M.
