NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that a special Council meeting,
go into executive session, was called by the common consent hofill
the Council at 7:00 A.M. Thursday, January 29, 1976, at the
Chalet Restaurant, 11680 S.W. Pacific Hwy. Tigard, Oregon.
The executive session is called under O.R.S. 192,660.2.
subsection 4, for authority of persons designated to carry on
labor negotiations.

1. ROLL CALL: Present: Mayor Wilbur A. Bishopl Councilmen Ralph C.
Barkhurst, John E. Cook, Alar} W. 'Iickelson, Robert C.
Moore; Bruce P. Clark, City Administrator; Doris Hartig,
City Recorder
Special meeting was called by common consent of the Council, which gent into
executive session under the provisions of 0.4.S. 192.660.2 subsection 4, for
authority of persons designated to carry on labor negotiations.
City Administrator suggested Council select negotiator and discuss approach
to discussions regarding employee contracts.
Motion by Councilman Moore to appoint City Administrator as negotiator with
assistance necessary from City Recorder and Chief of Police; motion seconded
by Councilman Barkhurst.
Approved by unanimous vote of Council.
Council .discussed labor negotiations and how same would effect tax base proposal,
capital improvement projects and special levies.
Council discussed employee contracts and setout guide lines for negotiations.
Meeting adjourned 8s45 A.M.
