Special meeting was duly called with the common consent of the
Council for the purpose of canvassing the results of the special
election held June 6, 1972, regarding budget election for year of
1972-73,
2, RESOLUTION No. 72-9 A RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE BALLOTS OF SPECIAL
ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY ON JUNE 6, 1972,
CERTIFYING THE RESULTS THEREOF, MAKING THE
APPROPRIATIONS AND DECLARING AD VALOREM TAX
LEVY FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1972 AND
ENDING JUNE 30, 1973.
(a) City Recorder reports the results of the election as follows:
Votes cast in favor of the levy - 217
Votes cast against the levy - 197
Total votes cast - 414
(b) Motion to adopt: Councilwoman Paisley, seconded by
Councilman Bergmann,
Approved by unanimous vote of Council,
3, ACCEPTANCE OF EASEMENTS - TIGARD ASSEMBLY OF GOD AND FIRST BAPTIST
CHURCH OF TIGARD
(a) City Administrator statedCityAttorney had reviewed easements
and recommended acceptance.
(b) Motion by,Councilman Moore to accept easements and authorize
Mayor and City Recorder to execute on behalf of the City;
seconded by Councilman_Bergmann.

4. APPROVE PAYMENT- -SPECIAL ELECTION HELD June ,6, 1972,
(a) City Recorder requested authorization to pay members of
budget committee for services rendered.
(b) Motion by Councilwoman Paisley authorizing payment at
rate of $2e00 per hour plus time and one-half-for services
in excess of 8 hours, seconded by Councilman Moore.
