City Administrator requested authorization for City Staff and Attorney to proceed with contract. (1) motion by Councilman Larsen to authorize Staff and Attorney to proceed with details of cc.-Ntra::tg secon- ded by Councilman Bergmann. Approved by unanimous vote of Ccuncil. Letter from Congressman Wendell. Wyatt reporting plans to build new Post Office for Tigard area. Letter from Tigard Water District rejecting, proposals pre- sented'by City of Tigard. 5. APPROVAL OF BILIS, $4,606.37 (a) Motion to approves Councilman O'Halloran, seconded by CouncilmanMoore. Approved by unanimous vote of Council. 6. APPOINTMENT OF PLANNING AND 2ONI.NG COMMISSIONER, Term Expiring July.1, 1973 (a) City Administrator recommended appointment of Mr. Jerry Harris (b) Motion to appoint Mro Harriss Councilman Larsen, seconded by Councilman O'Halloran Approved by uraanimous vote of Council 7. ACCEPTANCE OF HAMPTON STREET SEWER EXTEN5I0N (a) City Administrator reported project has been completed with the exception of receiving easement from the,School District'. Attorney Anderson commented School District had granted easement and he had all signatures except one, and felt there would be no problem. Director of Public Works stated he had received maintenance bond in amount of 50% of project and "as built' plans of sewer extension, (b) Motion by Councilman More to accept the Hampton Street Sewer Extension, seconded by Councilman Bergmann Approved by unanimous vote of Cruncil 8. BURNHAM STREET PUMP STATION (a) Director of Public Works requested authorization to call for tads to improve the Burnham Street Pump Station, Estimated cost of project is $3,000, (b) Motion to authorize calling for bidsa Councilman Larsen, seconded by Councilman O°Halloran Approved by unanimous vote of Council 9.
