PATERSON SEWER CONTRACT AMENDMENT (a) City,Administrator recommended the addendum be corrected to show the total amount of contract to be repaid to Mr. Paterson as $84,431..32. The City paid $4,967.50 to Mr. Paterson in January 1966 for the oversizing of the sewer line to Derry Dell Creek. (b) Motion to approve the addendum: Councilman Knauss, seconded by Councilman Bergmann. Approved by unanimous vote of Council present. 5. CHRISTEN REZONING APPEAL - Map 1S1 36CD, Tax Lot 2000 & 2100. (a) City Administrator read a letter from Mr. Alexander Finke stating he did not wish to appeal the Planning and Zoning Coiamission's denial of his requested rezoning. No action was taken by Council 8. AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR PINEBROOK SEWER (a) City Administrator reviewed bids received for construction of the interceptor sewer. Bids received are as follows: Lord Bros. $53,244.50 Marshall Assoc. Cont. 69,593.25 George W. Lind, Jr. 62,495.35 C. J. Montag & Sons, Inc. 60,956.95 Oregon Construction Co. 66,732.00 Dilworth Construction Co. 77,228.50 James G. Robertson 89,988.80 Mr. Gilbert Meigs of Stevens, Thompson & Runyan, Inc. recommended the contract be awarded to Lord Bros., low bidder, completion time to be 120 calendar days after execution of the contract. Mr. Meigs further stated part of conditions of contract required that the main sewer line be ready for service by July 29, 1968, however, cleanup and minor work could be completed after that date. (b) Motion by Councilman Ball to accept the low bid of Lord Brothers; authorize them City Attorney to prepare the contract as soon as possible and authorize the Mayor to sign on behalf of the City. Motion seconded by Councilman Bergmann. Approved by unanimous vote of Council present. 9. ORDINANCE 68-25 - AN ORDINANCEANNEXING TO THE CITY OF TIGARD LANDS OF SARAH ;.E.=STEELE'AND'HOWARD S.-'GASS ET UX, 'BEING A-PART'OF GRAHAM ACRES SUBDIVISION' IN`SECTION';35, T1S, R1W, W.M. fWashington County, Oregon. (a) Resume Public Hearing - 8:00 P.M. No Testimony - Public Hearing Closed (b) Motion to adopt: Councilman Ball, seconded by Councilman Knauss. Approved by unanimous vote of Council present. 10. SEWER INSPECTION AND REPAIR PROPOSALS (T.V.) (a) City Administrator requested item be set-over to May 13, 1968. 11. OREGON EDUCATION SEWER PROJECT (a) City Administrator requested'direction from Council to proceed with plans and;specifications for Oregon 'Education'Association project. ;This,would be preparatory to setting 'Public Hearing. , (b) Motion to proceed with Oregon Education Association project:' Councilman Bergmann, seconded by Councilman Ball. Approved by unanimous vote of Council present. page 2 >(4-22-68) OTHER BUSINESS A. Mr. Lawrence Arneson submitted 3 petitions containing 82 names protesting the of S. W. Highway 217 to,S. W. Hoffarber Road. Several members in the audience protested the re.naming of the street and suggested Council consider S. W. Sth, Lone Oak Road, Arbor Road, Hall Street, S. W. 85th or any other name that could be easily' understood and located. Matter was discussed further and Council will take the matter under consideration City;Staff was instructed to work with other jurisdictions in area and bring back recommendation to May 13th Council meeting. ' B. Mayor Kyle discussed the Tax Base election with members of audience. C. Adjournment 8:40 P.M.
