Approved by unanimous vote of Council. 8.0 JOINT CONTRACT FOR 702 STUDY OF FANNO CREEK SEWER INTERCEPTOR '=(a) ,CityKAdministrator' reported project involves a detailed engineering study for;Fanno"Creek:Sewer line :with participation of several jurisdictions. -City of Beaverton would serve as coordinator and applicant for project. Joint application would be for interest free lean, repayable at construction from Federal Government. ACCEPTANCE OF CERTAIN STREETS FROM WASHINGTON COUNTY FOR CITY MAINTI:.NANCL, AND JURISDICTION (a) City Administrator reported several years back City paid $9,500 to Washington County for improvement of certain roads which were already county responsibility. County did work on these roads which consisted mostly of labor and materials, but did not bring streets up to urban standards. County now requests City accept these streets for maintenance: S. W. Watkins within the City Limits r S. W. Commercial Street west of S. W. Main St. S. W. Scoffins Street .' - S. W. Burnham Street z S. W. Lewis Lane b: S. W. 92nd Avenue north of Center Street Councilman Ball commented that since County had reimbursed y City on SW Main Street, the acceptance of these streets § be tabled until next Council Meeting to give City Administrator and City Engineer time to review matter with County and City r try to obtain same settlement as on Main Street. 4, (b) Motion to authorize City Administrator, Attorney and Engineer to negotiate settlement in regard to acceptance z`. of these streets: Councilman Ball, Seconded by Council- s, - man Moore. CONSTRUCTION OF CITY MAINTENANCE BUILDING (a) City Administrator recommended City Staff be authorized to prepare plans for construction of Maintenance Building;approximately 32 x 50 feet, part of which could be rented on a lease-purchase arrangement to public works department. AUTHORIZE PREPARATION OF APPLICATION FOR BUREAU OF OUTDOOR sM REGREATION`FUND FOR COOK PARK (a) City Administrator proposed Council authorize preparation and filing of application for Bureau of Outdoor Recreation Funds for Cook Park, totaling about $18,000. Money would have to be matched by City Funds. Matching would involve Tabor, materials,;planning, etc. .Project would-be accomplished in a -two year period.
