(tyle, Mayor Kyle explained the purpose of the meeting was t_ look over Plan #18199, which was recommended by the State Highway Department, ,for the restcooms at the City Park with the following changes; Remove all exterior concrete except shaded area. Replace beams with 2 x. 12 ,rafters, 2 foot center. Remove sky liter, install built up roof Rough-in all fixtures only. Change floor drain on mens side to center floor, and rough-in for wall hung urinals. Cut side overhang of roof 2 .feet. Install 1,000 gallon septic tank and,250 sq. ft. drain field. It is indicated that the. completion date for the rest rooms should be July'8, 1965, which will enable the,Y,M.t' ' to use .the Park facilities on July 15, 1965. Attorney Anderson explained that the bids should be solicited' by hand bills instead of advertising in the newspaper. The bids would be opened at a certain time and place and .read in a;public place. Councilman Bergmann: I move that we ask the City Engineer to draw specifications and report to Council on May 10,=: 1965. . Motion seconded by Councilman Woodard. Upon call for vote the motion was unanimously approved by Council, all members being present. 'Councilman Klock felt that it would be advisable to have the City Engineer contact the City Attorney for setting up the process ofbidding. Councilman Bergmann: I move that we instruct the` C.- to draft a standard procedure for bidding.
