OF
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIGAF`D, OREGON
-December 4, 1963
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Tigard,
Oregon was called to order at 7:00 p.m, on December. 4, 1963 in the
Council Chambers at the City Hall, Tigard,'Oregon, with Mayor E. A.
Woodard presiding, roll call revealing that all Councilmen other
titan N. E. Johnson were present, together with the City "ecorder,
Ralph V. Symons, and Attorney Fred. A. Anderson.
The Mayor directed that the notice of the call of said meet-
ing, as delivered to each Councilman more than four hours prior to
holding said meeting,<be`incorporated in the record.
The reading of the minutes of the last regular meeting of
the Council was by common consent deferred until tate next regular
neeting.
Mayor Woodard then announced the purpose of the meting was
to consider an 'amendatory ordinance with respect to the prior sale
to the UnitedStates`National Bank of Portland, Oregon of $150,000.
general obligation sewer bonds;of the City, and the Mayor then
asked Attorney Anderson to explain to the Councilmen the need for
and purpose of the ordinance,,which action was taken.
After some discussion Mayor 4loodard directed the Recorder
to assign number 63-17 to the proposed ordinance, and a copy thereof
was distributed to each Councilman present and thereupon Mayor Wood-
ard directed Recorder Symons to read the ordinance in full, section
by section, and then;by,title, ,and said ordinance was,so read.by
Recorder Symons.
On motion made by Councilman Klock, seconded by Councilman
Cooper, the:-adovtion of said ordinance wase.:referred to the .Council
with the following vote:
Councilman Klock - Aye
Councilman'Bergman, - Aye
fiouncilman Cooper - Aye
Mayor Woodard - Aye
and the ordinance was thereby adopted' by unanimous vote of the Council.
Discussion ofother matters thereafter followed, with the meet-
ing being adjourned at 7:30 u.m.
