City Council Packet - 04/18/1962 T I G ARD CITY COUNCIL MINUTES OF MEETING APRIL 18 1962 Those present: Mayor Phillips, Councilmen Hanneman, Verharen and Woodard. Mr F J Cooper, 12875 S W Watkins was present and requested a further study of the sewer assessment on his property at that address. Mayor Phillips asked Mr Cooper to present his complaint at the Council Meetigg on May 9, 1962 when Engineer Carter's report would be submitted. Councilman.Hanneman reported the entrance to McKenzie Street from Pacific Highwayhad been repaired: Councilman Verharen reported that he anticipates that the coupon books for sewer service charges will be available;by July 1,-1962. ' The.meeting adjourned to the Bircheswherethere was discussion with George Lewis and Tom Brandon regarding acquisition of land for a proposed retirement home; and possible extension o£",the sewer line. There were no conclusions arrived at but it was , planned Engineer Carter would establish the distance to be covered, the size of pipe' necessary, the cost per foot, and secure contour maps to provide general information for further study. ` No funds are to be expended on the proposed project until a further study is made by the City Council.
