RESOLUTION NO. 10- 1. 2_
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING PLANNING COMMISSIONERS KAREN RYAN AND DONALD
SCHMIDT AND PLANNING COMMISSION ALTERNATE RICHARD SHAVEY AS MEMBERS OF
THE DOWNTOWN DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
WHEREAS, Council established a subcommittee of die Planning Commission as the Downtown Design
Review Board to conduct Type III-C hearings on application permits as specified in the Tigard Development
Code; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commissioners Karen Ryan and Donald Schmidt, and Planning Conitnission
Alternate Richard Shavey have tlhe professional background to serve on such a board and have expressed a
willingness to be appointed to the board.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Planning Coirnnissioner Karen Ryan and Donald Scluhiidt, and Planning Commission
Alternate Richard Shavey are appointed to the Downtown Design Review Board.
SECTION 2: The terms of the Downtown Design Review Board positions ran concurrently with and
expire with the terms of the Planning Commission positions.
SECTION 3: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
