A RESOLUTION REMOVING REX CAFFALL FROM THE TIGARD PLANNING COMMISSION
FOR MISCONDUCT PER TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE 2.08.030
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council desires that the business conducted by all appointed Commissions and
Boards be free of implied or actual threats or intimidation;and
WHEREAS,Mr.Rex Caffall is an appointed member of the Tigard Planning Commission;and
WHEREAS, an email from Mr. Caffall to another Planning Commissioner dated May 21, 2010, contained
highly inappropriate language, which was personally threatening toward that Commissioner, and constitutes
misconduct by Mr. Caffall.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Rex Caffall is removed from the Tigard Planning Commission for misconduct._
SECTION 2:This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
