RESOLUTION NO. 10- ILO
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JOHN STORHM, CURRENT LIBRARY BOARD ALTERNATE, TO
TEMPORARILY FILL THE BOARD POSITION VACATED BY SCOTT HANCOCK, DUE TO
MILITARY DEPLOYMENT.
WHEREAS, Scott Hancock, in his first year as a Library Board Member, is being mobilized and deployed by
the United States Naval Reserve for a period of approximately one (1) year, beginning March 13, 2010 and
ending March 2011;and
WHEREAS, John Storhm, current Library Board Alternate, has agreed to fill the open seat until Hancock's
return;and
WHEREAS, Mr. Storhm was interviewed by the Mayor's Appointments Advisory Committee on Monday,
June 15,2009.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: John Storhm is hereby appointed to fill the seat temporarily vacated by Scott Hancock,and will
retain said seat until Hancocles return in March of 2011.
SECTION 2:This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
