TIGARD CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION NO. 10- )
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE TIGARD GREENWAY TRAIL
MASTER PLAN PROJECT CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard was awarded a Transportation and Growth Management grant from
the Oregon Department of Transportation to develop a Greenway Trail Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, it is the City's policy to establish special City advisory boards and cominittees to
provide input to the City Council,Planning Commission, and City staff;and
WHEREAS, a Citizen Advisory Committee is required to oversee the preparation of the master plan
and to assist in the presentation of the final plan to City Council;and
WHEREAS, Council Resolution 08-47 amended the process to form and appoint members to
limited duration Citizen Advisory Committees;and
WHEREAS, Council on February 23, 2010, authorized the establisl—nnent of a]united duration
Citizen Advisory Committee to guide the development of the Greenway Trail Master Plan Project
and defined the membership of this committee; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned authorization identified the Tigard Greenway Trail Master Plan
Project Citizen Advisory Committee as consisting of seven members.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: The membership of the Tigard Greenway Trail Master Plan Project Citizen Advisory
Committee is expanded to eight individuals from seven.
SECTION 2: The membership of the Tigard Greenway Trail System blaster Plan Citizen Advisory
Committee shall consist of those individuals listed on Exhibit A.
SECTION 3: Unless determined otherwise by Council, the Tigard Greenway Trail Master Plan
Project Citizen Advisory Committee shall sunset at the completion of their task
which shall be immediately following final presentation of the completed update to
the City Council.
SECTION 3: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
