RESOLUTION NO. 10- O 7
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING HOLLY POLIVKA AND HONG DAO AS MEMBERS, AND
APPOINTING CHARLOTTE CORELLE AS AN ALTERNATE MEMBER, TO TI-IE PARK AND
RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, Holly Polivka,I-long Dao and Charlotte Corelle have expressed an interest in serving on the Park
and Recreation advisory Board;and
WHEREAS, there are currently three vacancies (ovo voting members and one alternate member vacancies) on
the Park and Recreation Advisory Board;and
WHEREAS, Holly Polivka, Hong Dao and Charlotte Corelle were interviewed and reconunended for
appointment by the Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Holly Pohvlm and I-long Dao are appointed to 611 the expired Park and Recreation Advisory
Board terms of Michael Ereudenthal and Trisha Swanson. These terms expire on June 30,
2013.
SECTION 2: Charlotte Corelle is appointed to her first term as an alternate member to the Park and
Recreation Advisory Board.This term expires on June 30,2011.
SECTION 3: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.

PARK AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD (PRAB)
RECOMMENDED APPOINTEES
BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Holly Polivka is recommended to serve on the PRAB. Holly is a children's librarian at the Tigard
Library and was formerly a health therapist at LifeWorks Northwest Adolescent Day Treatment
Program located in Tigard. She has a Master of Arts in Social Science and a Master of Library
Science. Holly has participated in community theatre in several Oregon cities and has been a
resident of Tigard for 9 years.
Hong Dao is recommended to serve on the PRAB. Hong has a Law Degree and is an attorney
working as a consultant at the US Attorney's Office. She has participated in community service
throughout her whole life and has been a resident of Tigard for 1.5 years.
Charlotte Corelle is recommended to serve as an alternate on the PRAB. Charlotte was
formerly working in healthcare data analysis for over 20 years and is currently unemployed.
She has a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Bachelors Degree in English and four
years post-baccalaureate pre-med studies. Charlotte has city of Milwaukee staff experience and
has been a resident of Tigard for 4.5 years.
