A RESOLUTION APPROVING TE-M QTY OF TIGARD'S PARTNERSHP WATH THE OREGON
ECONOMIC;&GDIM T`I Y DEVELOPMENT"DEPARTMENT BROWNFIELDS COALITION
VvTEREAS, The Oregon Economic & Community Development Department (OEQOD) is an agency that
provides economic and community development throughout the state;and
WTEREAS, OEC DD has developed the Brownfields Coalition Assessment Initiative that will assist Oregon
communities in property redevelopment and provide economic growth;and
WF EREAS, The City of Tigard has five properties eligible for obtaining assessment grant funding through
partnership with OEC DD in its Brownfields Coalition of which there is no cost to the City.
NOW,ITEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard CatyCot�nd that:
SECTION 1 The City of Tigard agrees to provide a letter of intent to become a partner in the Oregon
Economic & Community Development Department Brownfields Coalition Assessment
Initiative.
SECTION 2: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
