A RESOLUTION AMENDING SEC'T'ION 5 OF RESOLUTION 08-31, ADOPTING THE BUDGET
AND IMPOSING TAXES AS PROVIDED FOR IN THE FY 2008-09 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City Council approved resolution 08-31 on June 10,20018 adopting the budget for FY 2008-09
and levying taxes for general operations and bonds;and
WHEREAS, the amount of taxes to be levied for the general obligation debt for payment of pfincipal and
interest payments on the library bond was incorrectly stated as $974,913 and should have been$830,563;and
WHEREAS, a corrected resolution needs to be approved by the City Council and forwarded to Washington
County Assessment and Taxation so that taxes can be accurately assessed.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that
SECTION 1: Section 5 of Resolution No. 08-31 is amended to read as follows:
The City of Tigard City Council hereby imposes the taxes provided for in the adopted budget
at the tate of$2.5131. per$1,000 of assessed value for general operations; and in the amount
of$830,563 for bonds; and that these taxes are hereby unposed and categorized for tax year:
2008-09 upon the assessed value of all taxable property in the City.
