A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE DISCAL YEAR 2005-09 BUDGET', 1\1'r KING
APPROPRIATIONS, AND IMPOSING AND CATEGORIZING T,i%1YES.
WIERE,AS, the budget for the City Center Development Agency for the year beginning July 1, 2008
was duly approved and recoirunended to the City Council by the regularly constituted Budget
Committee at its meeting on May 05, 2008, after proceedings in accordance with Chapter 294, Oregon
Revised Statutes; and
WHEREAS, a summary of the budget as required by Chapter 294.416 was duly published in the
Tigard Tunes, a newspaper of general circulation in the City in accordance with Chapter 294.421; and
WHEREAS, a hearing by the City Center Development Agency Budget Committee on the budget
doctunent, as proposed by the City Manager, was held on May 5, 2008, where all interested persons
were afforded an opportunity to appear and be heard with respect to die budget; and
WHEREAS, a hearing by the City Center Developinent Agency Board of Directors on the budget
document, as approved by the Budget Coni nittee, was duly called and held on June 10, 2008, where all
interested persons were afforded an opportunity to appear and be heard with respect to the budget.
NOW, THERE FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: The City Center Development Agency Board of Directors adopts the budget for
Fiscal Year-2008-09 in the total amount of$459,269.
SECTION 2: The appropriations for the Fiscal year beginning July 1, 2008 are established as
follows:
Operating Expenditures 5 0
Capital Improvements $ 379,269
Debt Service 8 80,000
Total $ 4595269
SECTION 3: The City Center Development Agency Board of Directors certifies to the county
assessor of the County of Washington, Oregon a request for d-ie maxima n amount
of revenue that may be raised by dividing the taxes under Section 1c, Articles IZ of
the Oregon Constitution and ORS Chapter 457.
SECTION 4: This resolution is effective inunediately upon passage.
