A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 07-35, MASTER FEES AND CIARGES,TO ADD
A FEE UPON FILING A NOMINATION PETITION TO AN ELECTIVE CITY OFFICE PURSUANT
TO TIGARD 1VIUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 2.40.010 (3)
WHEREAS, Tigard Muuiicipal Code 2.40.010 sets fords the nominating procedures for candidates for elective
positions for the City of Tigard; and
WHERJH1S, Tigard Muiucipal Code 2.40.010 (3) provides that a person filing a nomination petition shall pay a
fee, which shall be tendered at the time of filing the completed noimuaation petition form with the City
Recorder;and
WI IEREAS,Tigard Municipal Code 240.010 (3) further provides that the fee amount will be set by Resolution
of the Tigard City Council.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Resolution No. 07-35, Master Fees and Charges, is amended to include a $50 filing fee for
filing a completed nomination petition form Nvith the City Recorder.
SECTION 2 : This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
