RESOLUTION NO. 08-ria
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ANASTASIA ADRLANO, PATRICIA ANDA, MYRNA BOYCE,
ALMA ISLAS, GARY JELINEK TO THE COMMITTEE FOR CITIZEN INVOLVEMENT AND
.APPOINTING RUMIANA BACK.ARDJIERVA AND PAUL WHITNEY AS ALTERNATE MEMBERS
WHEREAS, Council by Resolution No. 07-61 created four at-large positions on the Committee for Citizen
Involvement,plus one youth position; and
WHEREAS, on January 14, 2008, the Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee conducted interviews of
several applicants for these openings;and
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Appointment Advisory Cornrnittee has recornrnended that the following persons be
appointed to the Committee for Citizen Involvement as at-large members:
Anastasia Adriano (youth)
Patricia Anda
Myrna Boyce
Alma Islas
Gary Jelinek
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Appointment Advisory Cornrnittee has recommended that the following persons be
appointed to the Cornrnittee for Citizen Involvement as at-large alternate members:
Rumiana Backardjieva
Paul Whitney
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Anastasia Adriano, Patricia Anda,Myrna Boyce,Alma Islas,and Gary Jelinek are appointed to
one-year terns on die City of Tigard Committee for Citizen Involvement beginning February
1,2008.
SECTION 2: Rurniana Backardjieva and Paul Whitney are appointed to one-year terms as alternate
members on the City of Tigard Committee for Citizen Involvement beginning February
1, 2008.
SECTION 3: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
