A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT #8 TO THE FY 2007-08 BUDGET TO
REFLECT ADJUSTMENTS TO SEVERAL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS IN THE GAS TAX
AND TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT FEE FUNDS.
WHEREAS,when the 2007-2008 CIP Budget and the 2007-2012 CIP Plan were adopted the Budget Committee
and City Council recognized a shortfall in the 5-year financing plan for street projects;and
WHEREAS, the City Council, in a separate action during the business meeting on October 16, 2007 the City
Council agreed to provide funds to install traffic signals at the 74 h Avenue and Bonita Road intersection;and
WHEREAS, several projects initiated in the FY 2006-07 fiscal year were not completed and have been
carried over into the FY 2007-08 fiscal year.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: The FY 2007-08 Budget is hereby amended as shown in Attachment A to this resolution to
fund projects totalling $501,135 and $17,046 in the Gas Tax and Transportation Impact Fee
funds carried over from the FY 2006-07 fiscal year.
SECTION 2: The FY 2007-08 Budget is hereby amended to provide funding in the amount of $50,000
from the Gas Tax fund for the 74th Avenue & Bonita Road Signalization Project, to be
designed and constructed as part of the Bonita Road crossing improvements under the
Commuter Rail project.
SECTION 3: The FY 2007-08 Budget is hereby amended as shown in Attachment A to this resolution to
adjust the budgets of several capital improvement projects to reflect the actual costs of these
initiatives and/or to accommodate funding for others.
SECTION 4: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
