A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELISE SHEARER AND THOMAS MURPHY AS VOTING
MEMBERS TO THE CITY CENTER ADVISORY COMMISSION, AND APPOINTING
ALEXANDER CRAGHEAD AS ALTERNATE
WHEREAS, in 2006, Tigard voters approved Urban Renewal and Tax Increment Financing for use in
the Downtown; and
WHEREAS, the City Center Advisory Commission consists of nine members appointed by City
Council to act as an advisory body to the City Center Development Agency, the Urban Renewal
Agency for the City of Tigard; and
WHEREAS, there are currently four voting member vacancies and two alternate vacancies on the City
Center Advisory Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Appointment Advisory Commission interviewed several candidates and
recommends appointing Elise Shearer and Thomas Murphy as voting members to the CCAC; and
Alexander Craghead as alternate.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Elise Shearer shall be appointed to the City Center Advisory Commission as voting
member to a term which expire on December 31, 2010.
SECTION 2: Thomas Murphy shall be appointed to the City Center Advisory Commission as a
voting member to fill an unexpired term which expires on December 31, 2008.
SECTION 3: Alexander Craghead shall be appointed to the City Center Advisory Commission as
alternate to a term which expire on December 31, 2008.
SECTION 4: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
