RESOLUTION NO. 07-�
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 07-35, MASTER FEES AND CHARGES,
TO INCREASE THE STATE SURCHARGE ON PERMITS ISSUED BY THE BUILDING
DIVISON BY 4% AS REQUIRED BY STATE LAW.
WHEREAS, new legislation regtures the State of Oregon, Building Codes Division to create a
statewide electronic permitting program; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature increased the state surcharge on permits by 4%, effective January 1, 2008;
and
WHEREAS, the Building Division currently collects an 8% state surcharge on permits issued by the
Building Division in the City of Tigard.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED bythe Tigard. City Council that:
SECTION 1: Resolution No. 07-35, Master Fees and Charges, is amended to reflect the full 12%
surcharge on permits issued bythe Building Division.
SECTION 2: This resolution is effective January 1,2008.
