RESOLUTION NO. 07- (
A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT #7 TO THE FY 2007-08 BUDGET
TO INCREASE APPROPRIATIONS IN THE HUMAN RESOURCES BUDGET WITHIN THE
POLICY AND ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM TO REFLECT THE COSTS ASSOCIATED
WITH A CITYWIDE JOB CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION STUDY.
WHEREAS, The City Council previously approved appropriations of$40,000 in the FY 2007-08 -
budget to fund a citywide job classification and compensation study; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, in a separate action during the business meeting on November 27, 2007
awarded a contract to the firm of Koff and Associates in the amount of $106,440 to complete this
study; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the FY 2007-08 Budget to increase appropriations in the Policy
and Administration Program budget to pay for this expenditure.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: The FY 2007-08 Budget is hereby amended as shown in Attachment A to this
resolution to transfer $66,440 from the Central Services Fund contingency to the City
Administration department to provide sufficient appropriations to complete this
project in the current fiscal year.
SECTION 2: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
