A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL APPOINTING bL-�TT CL EMO
AND K:-lNDACE HORLINGS TO THE TREE BOARD AS REGULAR MEMBERS,
DALE RICI-LARDS AS SECOND ALTERNATE, AND REAPPOINTING JANET GILLIS
TO ANOTHER TOUR-YEAR TERM
WHEREAS, vacancies exist on the Tigard Tree Board and Tigard residents Matt Clemo and
Kandace Horlings have expressed interest in being appointed as regular members; and
WHEREAS, Dale Richards has expressed interest in becoming an alternate member; and
WHEREAS, the first full-year term of Janet Gillis, Tree Board Chair, expires April 30, 2007,
and she has expressed interest in continuing to serve for another term; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee has considered the above
applicants and found their qualifications to be suitable, they are recommended for appointment
to the Tigard Tree Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL THAT:
SECTION 1: i\1att Clemo and Kandace Horlings are appointed as regular members for four-
year terms that expire April 30, 2011;Janet Gillis, free Board Chair, is
reappointed to another four-year term that expires April 30, 2011; and
SECTION 2: Dale Richards is appointed as second alternate member for a one-year term that
expires April 30, 2005.
SECTION 3: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
