RESOLUTION NO. 07-
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JASON ASHLEY, SCOTT BERNHARD, KIM
LEINBERGER AND JASON ROGERS AS MEMBERS, AND APPOINTING VERNON
COOKE AS AN ALTERNATE MEMBER, TO THE PARK AND RECREATION ADVISORY
BOARD
WHEREAS,Jason Ashley, Scott Bernhard, Kim Leinberger,Jason Rogers and Vernon Cooke have
expressed an interest in serving on the Park and Recreation Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, there are currently four member vacancies and one member alternate vacancy on the
Park and Recreation Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS,Jason Ashley, Scott Bernhard, Kim Leinberger,Jason Rogers and Vernon Cooke have
been interviewed and recommended for appointment by the Mayor's Appointment Advisory
Committee.
NOW,TI FORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Jason Ashley is appointed to his first full Park and Recreation Advisory Board term
which expires on June 30, 2010.
SECTION 2: Scott Bernhard is appointed to a second Park and Recreation Advisory Board term
which expires on June 30, 2010.
SECTION 3: Kim Leinberger is appointed to fill the unexpired Park and Recreation Advisory
Board term of Carl Switzer. This term expires on December 31, 2007.
SECTION 4: Jason Rogers is appointed to fill the unexpired Park and Recreation Advisory Board
term of Shelly Richards. This term expires on December 31, 2007.
SECTION 5: Vernon Cooke is appointed to his first term as an alternate member to the Park and
Recreation Advisory Board.This term expires on June 30, 2009.
SECTION 6: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
