A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MICHAEL FREUDENTHAL AND TRISHA SWANSON AS
MEMBERS ON THE PARK AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD AND APPOINTING KELLY
JEAN JOHNSON AS AN ALTERNATE MEMBER ON THE PARK AND RECREATION ADVISORY
BOARD
WHEREAS, the City Council activated the Park and Recreation Advisory Board by Ordinance No. 03-02
on April 22, 2003, and
WHEREAS, two Park and Recreation Advisory Board member vacancies will occur on December 31,
2005, and
WHEREAS, one alternate Park and Recreation Advisory Board member vacancy will occur on December
31, 2005, and
WHEREAS, the following applicants expressed interest in serving on the Park and Recreation Advisory
Board and were interviewed by the Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee in November 2005, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee recommends these individuals be appointed
to the Park and Recreation Advisory Board.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Michael Freudenthal and Trisha Swanson are each appointed to a four-year term as members
on the Park and Recreation Advisory Board, with their terms beginning on January 1, 2006
and ending on December 31,2009.
SECTION 2: Kelly Jean Johnson is appointed to a four-year term as an alternate member on the Park and
Recreation Advisory Board, with her term beginning on January 1, 2006 and ending on
December 31, 2009,
SECTION 3: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
