RESOLUTION NO. 05-697
A RESOLUTION OF TIGARD CITY COUNCIL AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 01-02 TO
INCREASE THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF CITIZEN-AT-LARGE MEMBERS AND DECREASE
THE NUMBER OF PLANNING COMNIISSION MEMBERS ON THE TREE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Tree Board wishes to increase the maximum number of citizens-at-large and decrease the
maximum number of Plaru-�ng Commission members on the board; and
WHEREAS, increasing the number of citizen-at-large members will create greater opportunities for citizen
participation to more effectively carry out the vision and goals of the board; and
WHEREAS, this change in the composition of the board requires an amendment to Resolution No. 01-02;
and
WHEREAS, the Tree Board members, including the Plauuling Commission representative, have approved
this amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: The amendment to Resolution No. 01-02 will change the configuration of the Tree
Board by increasing the maximiml number of citizen-at-large members from four to
five, and decreasing the maxinrurn number of Planning Commission members from
three to two. The total number of Tree Board seats will remain at seven.
SECTION 2: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
