RESOLUTION NO.04-08
A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT#4 TO THE FY 2004-05 BUDGET TO
INCREASE APPROPRIATIONS FOR FUNDING OF A FIREWALL FOR THE CITY'S COMPUTER
NETWORK
WHEREAS,the City's computer network is connected to the Public Community Network under an
Intergovernmental Agreement(IGA)with 19 other governmental agencies;and
WHEREAS,the IGA requires that all participating jurisdictions install and maintain a firewall for the
protection of the network;and
WHEREAS,the City currently does not have a firewall that protects the City's network and there is a need
to purchase and install a firewall as soon as possible.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: The FY 2004-05 Adopted Budget of the City of Tigard is hereby amended as shown in
Attachment A to this resolution to fund the purchase and installation of a firewall for the
City's computer network.
SECTION 2: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
