RESOLUTION NO.04-QR
A RESOLUTION MAKING THE FOLLOWING APPOINTMENTS TO THE LIBRARY BOARD:
DAVID BURKE TO COMPLETE THE TERM VACATED BY JEFFREY LAWTON'S MIDTERM
RESIGNATION, BRIAN KELLY TO A FOUR-YEAR TERM, AND RUTHANNE LIDMAN AS THE
ALTERNATE.
WHEREAS,David Burke,Brian Kelly and Ruthanne Lidman expressed interest in serving on the Tigard
Library Board and were interviewed by the Mayor's Appointments Advisory Committee on April 19,2004,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1:David Burke is appointed to complete the term vacated by Jeffrey Lawton's mid-term
expiration. This term expires June 30,2005.
SECTION 2: Brian Kelly is appointed to the Library Board for a term that begins July 1,2004 and
expires June 30,2008.
SECTION 3: Ruthanne Lidman is appointed as alternate to the Library Board for a term that ends June
30,2006.
SECTION 4:This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
