A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING THE
EXCELLENT LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNITY SERVICE RENDERED BY
JOSEPH GRISHAM,POLICE LIEUTENANT FOR THE CITY OF TIGARD FROM
March 16, 1977 TO MARCH 31,2004
WHEREAS,Lt.Joe Grisham has served the City of Tigard and the Tigard Police
Department for 27 years;and
WHEREAS,Joe Grisham served as police officer,sergeant and eight years as lieutenant
during his tenure with the City of Tigard;and
WHEREAS,Lt.Joe Grisham assisted citizens,trained officers,solved crimes,and helped
improve the quality of life in Tigard;and
WHEREAS,during his tenure with the City,Lt.Joe Grisham gave the City of Tigard
many hours of professional expertise and dedicated public safety service;and
WHEREAS,the City of Tigard Mayor and Council wish to show their great appreciation
to Lt.Joe Grisham for his exemplary service to the Tigard community;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard.City Council that:
SECTION 1: On the occasion of Lt.Joe Grisham's retirement from this municipality
after 27 years of faithful service,it is appropriate for the City of Tigard to extend its
grateful appreciation to him for his dedication to providing the best possible public
service to the City of Tigard.
SECTION 2: The Tigard City Council adopts this resolution in recognition of the
meritorious services rendered by Lt.Joe Grisham.
SECTION 3: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
