A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JEFF JURRENS TO THE BUILDING APPEALS BOARD IN THE
FIRE MARSHALL POSITION
WHEREAS, the fire marshall position on the Building Appeals Board is open due to the resignation of
Gene Birchill, and
WHEREAS, Jeff Jurrens is the City of Hillsboro Fire Marshall, has worked in fire service positions since
1975 and code enforcement since 1987, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Jurrens has expressed interest in serving on the Building Appeals Board, and was
interviewed by the Mayor's Appointments Advisory Board on August 28,2003
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Jeff Jurrens, is appointed to complete the term initiated by Gene Birchill on the Building
Appeals Board to fill the Fire Marshall position. This term ends April 1, 2006.
SECTION 2: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
