A RESOLUTION SETTING TELECOMMUNICATIONS FRANCHISE APPLICATION FEES
WHEREAS, City Code Section 5.14 governs telecommunications franchising within the City of Tigard,
and
WHEREAS,Section 5.14.080 requires applicants for telecommunications franchises to pay a fee at the time
they submit their application for a franchise,and
WHEREAS,Section 5.14.080 also requires to City Council to set the application fee by resolutions,and
WHEREAS, staff has estimated that the cost of processing a telecommunications franchise application is
$2,000,and
WHEREAS,it is appropriate for franchise applicants to pay the full cost of processing their applications.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: The Telecommunications Franchise Application Fee for calendar 2001 is established at
$2,000.
